2020 Youth Spring Registration

Leominster Lassie League has teams in four Fast Pitch Softball divisions for children ages 5-18

Age as of January 1, 2020 determines registrant's division

Instructional Division - Ages 5-7
Intermediate Division - Ages 8-10
Minor Division - Ages 11-13
Major Division - Ages 14-18

ALL  MINOR AND MAJOR DIVISION PLAYERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO ATTEND TRYOUTS. PLAYERS WILL BE EVALUATED FOR SKILL LEVEL AND ENTERED INTO THE LEAGUE DRAFT.  BASED ON PLAYER SKILL LEVEL AND EXPERIENCE, THE DECISION MAY BE MADE TO MOVE PLAYERS UP OR DOWN A DIVISION IF IT IS FELT TO BE IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE PLAYER. PLAYERS ARE ONLY REQUIRED TO ATTEND ONE TRYOUT.

PITCHERS AND CATCHERS ARE ONLY REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE PITCHER/CATCHER TRYOUT FOR YOUR DIVISION. 

Tryout Dates:

All Minor, Major players must attend one tryout.        

TRYOUTS Will be held at The Boys & Girls Club 365 Lindell Ave Leominster

                       Feb 22nd      MINORS  10:00AM                                                                                                                                          MAJORS  11:30AM                                                                                                                      
  ** Pitchers & Catchers only need to attend the Pitcher / Catcher session on Feb 29th !                                                                       MINORS - PITCHERS & CATCHERS 6:30pm                                                                                               MAJORS - PITCHERS & CATCHERS 7:30pm                                                                                             (catchers please bring your own gear if you have gear)

INSTRUCTIONAL AND INTERMEDIATE PLAYERS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO TRYOUT AND WILL BE DIVIDED UP AND PLACED ON TEAMS

**We will have shirts to try on at all of the try out dates. The shirts tend to run small. If you are unsure of your child's shirt size please come to try outs and try one on as you will be charged $10 for another shirt if you order the wrong shirt size.
